What excites you the most about the future of Ritual Massage & Bodywork? It would have to be seeing our therapists step into and become leaders, communicators and a comforting presence for our community.

What drew you to the field of massage therapy and what continues to inspire you? I had a few massages back in high school, as a three-sport athlete and I fell in love after my first session! Seeing the positive physical & emotional shift in my clients is what inspires me.

Your fav guilty pleasure TV show currently: Jersey Shoes- Family Vacation :)

If you could tell your younger self ONE thing, what would it be? Enjoy being a kid, because “adulting” is extremely overrated.

When you're not using your amazing massage & bodywork skills, what do you enjoy doing? I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant with my second, so to be completely honest, I enjoy putting my feet up and catching up on a few TV series with my husband after the kids go to bed!

What excites you the most about working for Ritual Massage & Bodywork? I’m excited about joining an amazing team of women who are focused on helping other women in their wellness journey. 

What drew you to the field of massage therapy and what continues to inspire you? I was drawn to massage therapy because I love holistic alternative medicine. I love working one on one with people as well as working with my hands. I have been a therapist for ten years, and I still love what I do. It is a calling and a fulfillment to serve others to help them relax and heal. 

Your fav guilty pleasure TV show currently: Gotham!

If you could tell your younger self ONE thing, what would it be? It would be to stop worrying so much about the future. To focus on God and the things He has for you in the now, because the future you imagined is nothing compared to where you are now. 

When you're not using your amazing massage & bodywork skills, what do you enjoy doing? I enjoy being out in nature, kayaking and hiking. I love to watch movies and to read. I also love to serve in the community, often volunteering at the Rockford Rescue Mission.

Ashlynn joins the Ritual team as a Digital Marketing Intern from Western Michigan University. With a strong passion for health & wellness, she jumped at the opportunity to work with Kellie when she saw the opportunity because she knew this was the environment she wanted to be part of. She loves that the role allows her to not only learn as she goes, but also contribute in meaningful ways- creating content, supporting business initiatives, and helping Ritual grow.
